This press release is intended to publicly notify interested people that there Is a change of venue. The new Venue is: River of Love Christian Fellowship, Triq L-Imdina, Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Malta. Reason The administrators of the old venue: Porziuncola Retreat House in Bahar Ic-Caghaq, Malta, canceled the availability of their location without any notice even though everything had been agreed upon before. “Never in my career as Event manager I have seen this before” Christiaan Meinen, Event manager from Sallux elaborates. “We sometimes have churches who object to make their locations available for political events. In this case they were informed from the beginning”. As Sallux we believe that accepting a conference in your location and then at the last minute (19th November to be exact) means deliberately trying to sabotage a conference. Important conference for Malta and Europe The conference will see the participation of specialist national and international delegates all working actively to promote Christian Values in politics throughout all European states. The aim of this conference is to address current issues like Economy & trade, Migration & Refugee crisis, Freedom of expression and -religion, fraud & corruption prevention and the security of the Maltese islands and the European Union. With reference to the cancellation, Ivan Grech Mintoff stated: “this is exactly what we are facing as a Christian community and such cancellation’s can only be seen as a victory to those who wish to silence our voice. Thankfully this has not been achieved.... “ NEW LOCATION Both St. Pauls pro Anglican cathedral as well as the “River of Love Christian Fellowship” immediately stepped in within minutes to fill the void in order for this conference to happen. As organizers we hope that the people of Malta, from all backgrounds and walks of live, who are willing to seek political solutions, based on Christian principles will attend the 24th November conference.
